In 1976, our founding partners, David LaBau and Russell Stecker established a 6-person office in Connecticut. Over the next 43 years, the firm experienced continued growth through mergers and acquisitions. Today SLAM has over 280 Design Thinker’s across our offices in Atlanta, GA, Boston, MA, Denver, CO, Glastonbury, CT, Iowa City, IA, Los Angeles, CA, Orlando, FL, and Philadelphia, PA.

We are an integrated team of curious and open-minded design and construction professionals who use critical design dialogue to harvest the best ideas and translate them into our clients’ reality.
