Teamed with Skanska, SLAM Architects is lead architect for Indiana University's developer-led project for a new multi-institutional campus located in downtown Evansville. The building will house instructional and research spaces serving a broad range of grad and undergrad health professional education programs associated with 4 institutions: Indiana University's School of Medicine (Med. Ed. and Research), University of Southern Indiana (Occupational Therapy, Health Informatics), University of Evansville (Physical Therapy and Physicians' Assistant Program), and Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana (Health Sciences and Nursing). The location provides a synergistic environment with the commercial, civic, corporate industry and healthcare institutions which will create a new medical district within the heart of the City of Evansville.
