Landscape Architecture Internship

Glastonbury, CT; Orlando, FL

The SLAM Collaborative has opportunities in our Glastonbury, CT office and in our Orlando, FL office for talented emerging professionals in Landscape Architecture to join our firm for an internship.

Working in a multi-disciplinary team environment, the Intern will perform assignments under the direct supervision of a Studio Leader, Project Manager, or other professional. You will have the opportunity to assist with architectural efforts that may include developing scaled models for study/presentation, site design, and presentation renderings.

Key Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of and experience with principles and practices of architectural design, project planning studies, and programming
  • Skill in graphic presentation, including use of architectural design, graphic, and photographic software applications
  • Experience in Revit and knowledge of Google Sketchup or other rendering packages, Microsoft Office Suite Adobe, InDesign, Photoshop, and other professional office-based production software

Requirements:

  • Level of education completed: 3rd year +
