Rich leads the firm’s Independent School practice and has worked with campuses across the country on projects ranging from master planning to design of all types of facilities. In 2013, the Associated General Contractors of Connecticut honored Rich as Designer of the Year in recognition of his contributions to the design and construction industry.

Rich has always had a strong commitment to giving back. He has been involved in working with youth (assistant scoutmaster to supporting independent schools at different levels), engaging in the local community (church leadership) and advancing our profession (national and state roles in the AIA, CT Architecture Foundation). He is also the President of the Board of Directors at Oxford Academy.

Rich has been honored multiple times throughout his career.

2013: Associated General Contractors of Connecticut Designer of the Year
2017: Investiture in the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects
2018: Awarded the Louise Bethune Fellowship by the AIA for service on the Strategic Council
2019: Awarded Avon Old Farms School Alumni Order of Old Farms
