Lauren Hiatt, AIA

Associate / Architect

Lauren Hiatt, AIA, is a project architect supporting the national Education, Healthcare and Corporate practices. She brings six years of experience as an architect and is currently working on the University of Washington, Health Science Building project managing the design and construction of the learning spaces. Lauren is passionate about equity among the profession, and is a leader of the SLAM Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee and is a leader in AIA Georgia’s Equity in Architecture Committee for the last four years.  She created the AIA Equity in Architecture scholarship program to provide financial aid to those on the path to licensure in Georgia and is a frequent presenter at architecture schools in the state of Georgia, addressing students on the importance of licensure. A proponent for health buildings, she is a FitWel ambassador and a leader of the SLAM Green Team initiative.
