In addition to their defense of the merit shop, they also provide safety training, state accredited apprenticeship programs, and an abundance of resources to help members navigate the challenging legislative and regulatory business environment in the state.
“It’s an exciting time to join the Connecticut ABC Board,” said Torone. “I am pleased to be part of an organization that promotes the education, networking and support of the merit shop construction trades in Connecticut and nationally, and I look forward to contributing to ABC as it continues to grow and expand its services to members.” In addition to becoming a recent DBIA (Design-Build Institute of America) certified professional, Torone currently serves on Connecticut ABC’s member recruitment committee.
