SLAM completes Doylestown Health phase three ICU/IMU floor

Philadelphia, PA – June 16, 2021 – SLAM (The S/L/A/M Collaborative) (formerly CBRE | Heery Design Group), in partnership with Doylestown Health, has completed phase three of the new $54 million, 100,000-SF, three-story addition to Doylestown Hospital, called the Cardiovascular and Critical Care Pavilion. Opened in April 2021, phase three marks another milestone in the hospital’s commitment to expanding care for their most vulnerable patients, with the fit-out of a new 32-bed intensive/intermediate care unit on the Pavilion’s third floor.

SLAM opens new office in Providence, RI

Providence, Rhode Island, June 8, 2021 — Nationally ranked A/E/C firm, SLAM (The S/L/A/M Collaborative), with offices in California, Connecticut, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Massachusetts, New York, and Pennsylvania, adds Rhode Island to the roster, expanding its services to One Davol Square, a former mill building converted to first class office space, in the heart of Providence’s Jewelry District.

SLAM announces national science & technology practice leader

Glastonbury, CT, May 18, 2021 – Jeffrey “Jeff” Talka, AIA, LEED AP, will serve as the national Science & Technology (S&T) Practice Leader for SLAM (The S/L/A/M Collaborative). Jeff will expand the firm’s national expertise in science and technology programming, planning and design, with an immediate focus on the corporate sector. This builds on the recent acquisition of five CBRE | Heery architectural design practices. The firm’s long-term goals are to expand opportunities in the higher education and healthcare markets, two major practices of the firm. Jeff will be located in SLAM’s Boston office.

SLAM design expands ER Dept at Mt San Rafael Hospital in Colorado

Denver, CO. April 6, 2021 – SLAM (The S/L/A/M Collaborative) (formerly CBRE | Heery Design Group), in partnership with Mt. San Rafael Hospital in Trinidad, Colorado, recently completed $25 million, 8,900-SF renovations to the new two-story emergency room department (ED) addition, as part of an overall 31,000-SF renovation project designed to improve the delivery of care for the community and modernize the hospital’s image and brand.
