Kathy Bell

Kathy specializes in master planning, programming, planning and design for the majority of clinical and support departments within the healthcare setting. She has a strong understanding of clinical processes and procedures and has in-depth knowledge of the challenges posed by healthcare environments. One of her roles in the SLAM Healthcare Studio is to educate, coordinate and disseminate best practices in healthcare design, including the findings of evidenced-based design as well as SLAM’s post-occupancy evaluation process. Kathy’s extensive range of projects include patient care units including critical care, surgical services, diagnostic imaging, cardiovascular suites and emergency departments.
