“I have a special place in my heart for the next generation of Architects, specifically the next generation of Architects of color. Thus, I am even more proud of members of the next generation I have been able to influence. On multiple occasions, I have had the pleasure of hosting young students at SLAM in a one on one environment where I gave them a glimpse of the profession. I believe it is important for these young men and women to see an Architect of color at work and have the opportunity to establish a relationship with an African-American Architect.”
