Have you heard of AIA 2030? SE 2050 is the structural engineering equivalent, which focuses solely on the elimination of embodied carbon in structural building materials.

I am Rebecca Kravec, a rising fifth-year architecture student at Auburn University, entering my final summer of architecture undergraduate school. I consider the internship a critical part of my educational experience. Having previously completed two internships, I knew some of the qualities that I was looking for in an architecture firm.

To think beyond the safe, coordinated and mandated guidelines that businesses across the nation will adhere to when returning to the workplace, as interior architects/designers, we are discovering there is one critical component missing: engaging employees on how they envision their future workplace. – Cynthia Martinez
