SLAM designs expand ER Dept at Mt San Rafael Hospital in Colorado

Denver, CO. April 6, 2021 –  SLAM (The S/L/A/M Collaborative) (formerly CBRE | Heery Design Group), in partnership with Mt. San Rafael Hospital in Trinidad, Colorado, recently completed $25 million, 8,900-SF renovations to the new two-story emergency room department (ED) addition, as part of an overall 31,000-SF renovation project designed to improve the delivery of care for the community and modernize the hospital’s image and brand.

Ellithorpe, AIA to Principal.  Cathie, based in the firm’s Glastonbury, Connecticut office, joined SLAM in 1994, and has developed an expertise in the public education and corporate sectors. A member of the Professional Women in Construction, Connecticut Chapter, Cathie has recently received the 2021 Woman of Achievement Award.
